Update on my 1930’s poster which I’ve submitted to the play’s producer. Hopefully she will like it and my ideas but if not it’s something else to add to my portfolio and maybe available to buy in the future
For a change I used coloured pencils on this drawing even though they’re shades of grey; they are soft and blendable and are not as shiney as pencil/graphite.
I have always liked the control I have with graphite sticks but now I know I could do a detailed portrait in full colour.
Facebook header created for The Disability Book drawn using a 4B graphite stick. I also discovered that facebook compresses images upto 80% so I saved my work as a png file over 2MB so after compression it wouldn’t be too pixelated.
experimental background made using a combo of graphite shading and marker pens. I used photoshop to invert and arrange my drawing but the theme is freehand illustration.
mini iPad background design. I made a collection of these for a project about how my illustrations can be used. Everything within the iPad action borrowed from psdcovers.com is freehand drawing with pure graphite.
This is a first for me so I hope you will like. After researching into professional print bureau’s I can now offer premium quality prints of my work.
The first of which is my picture called ‘Suspense’ or the drawing that friends often refer to as, ‘the suspenders one’.
The prices are £15 for A4 and £30 for A3 and include the print in matt, semi-gloss or glossy options, packaging in strong cardboard tube and special delivery postage.
Please like and share and let me know what you think about buying art in general. Do you have any requests for the kinds of work you would like to see available?
Completed promotional poster. Want to make a few different backgrounds but pretty happy with the outcome.
